              <text>Shirley was spending time in NYC as part of her recuperation from the death of her partner Alexis Kuhr.  We had a great visit and had lunch here.  We had not seen Shirley or her partner Alexis since 2018.   It is a complicated story and not one I will go into.   We were all very close and had an intense friendship.  It was wonderful to see Shirley.  We had very much missed seeing both of them.  </text>
