We talked with him about what needed to be done and the left to go to Rhinebeck to go to the Farmers Market and for me to get some clothes at Changes. When we got back there was a message on the machine from Steve about a problem with the gas line. I called him back and he told me that he had accidentally hit the gas line from going from the propane tanks into my studio. He had acted quickly and shut them off. The firedepartment came and shut off the whole street. They were just about the axe to pieces the barn doors to my studio wnen, Steve said, why don't we see if we can just open the doors. Which they did. Then he watched the firemen as the looked around my studio to make sure there wasn't any gas leaking in tthe building. The gas company also came. I called them and they will come next week with new tanks. They said the old ones were out of date anyway.
