We finally arranged to meet for dinner at the Brasserie 292 in downtown Poughkeepsie. We had been there a number of times before. Sometimes it had been good and sometimes less good. The meal was the best we have ever had there. I had a pork chop, which was spectacularly good. Catherine (Murphy), and Alexis had the skate, and Shirley had the bouillabaisse, all of which were delicious. Alexis is just finishing up her term of being chair of the art department at UMass Amherst. It was good to see Alexis and Shirley after all this time.
