The are sitting on the steps of the Chapel. For th many years we had met up with the art department graduates and their parents in front of the chapel. We didn't have any refreshments and not that many people showed up. And they didn't stay long. I decided to have refreshments this year and sent out an announcement that referred to the gathering as a reception. The attendance was many times greater, people stayed longer, and from what I could tell, people had a better time. For one thing having beverages on such a hot day was important.
