I usually drive but I am driving to NYC tomorrow so thought the train would be a good idea. I read, but mostly slept on the way down I had an appointment with Dennis Cardone, a doctor and a friend. I am reading, MY Struggle, by Karl Ove Knausgaard. Waiting at the doctors office I read a particularly terrific part starting with Emily Dickinson and taking up 2 or 3 pages, about writing (art), the individual and the us (society). Back at the Poughkeepsie train station, walking to my car I came across this wedding party posing for photographs. I just missed tthe whole group posing. I asked them if they would all pose again, not surprisingly they weren't interested. Not surprising since they had no idea who I was.
